Traceability is the ability to verify and track every detail pertaining to the measurements taken on an artifact. This includes calibration records, tracking a particular instrument or device as well.
It can further be defined as a chain of documentation (“documentation traceabilty”) and associated uncertainties (“metrology traceability”) for the tool or the measuring device/s.
Our inspection equipment and reports are traceable to the National Institute of Standards & Technology. Advanced Measurement Labs., Inc. maintains calibration records at all times and are available for customer audit. Calibration is performed by our approved contractors.
